  • Business Development Manager

    Role: Business Development Manager Commitment: Full-time role Salary: Competitive package dependent on experience, basic in range £40-45k plus commission Location: Home or office based

    The Role:

    • Develop business for Ionix extreme environment devices across a wide range of end user and market applications, working across a selected range of sales channels
    • Identify and prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business
    • Build key client relationships, focused on the decision makers within the client organisation
    • Project manage high value client facing projects
    • Work closely with the technical and operations team to influence the development of an expanding product line

  • Manufacturing Technician

    Role: Manufacturing Technician

    Commitment: Full-time role

    Salary: Competitive package dependant on experience.

    Location: Ionix’s development and manufacturing activities are based in a modern, purpose built facility Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. UK, with excellent commuter links to Manchester and Leeds.

    The Role:

    • Work with the device development & manufacturing team to assemble and test ultrasonic devices (sensors, transducers) for use at high temperature and in other demanding environments, under the direction of the Devices Management Team.
    • Employ knowledge of manufacturing assembly techniques, and able to work in a precise and exacting manner to ensure products are within tolerance and specification at all times.
    • Contribute to developing construction and production methods and documentation, maintaining equipment logs and activity history.
    • Responsible and accountable for working under the requirements of the Company quality assurance and health and safety policy.
    • Communicate on task/program progress within the team.

    • Contribute to electronic, mechanical and materials design of the devices.
    • Provide feedback of manufacturing techniques, assembly, and applicability to designs.
    • Contribute to developing documentation, maintaining equipment logs and activity history.
    • Communicate with suppliers and equipment manufacturers to discuss applications, resolve issues and ensure product requirements are met.
    • Responsible and accountable for working under the requirements of the Company quality assurance and health and safety policy.
    • Report writing of analysis and project work undertaken.

    • Communicate with suppliers and equipment manufacturers to manufacture prototype parts, discuss applications, resolve issues and ensure product requirements are met.
    • Assemble and test components in the laboratory under the direction of the Devices Management Team.
    • Contribute to electronic, mechanical and materials design of the devices.
    • Provide feedback of manufacturing techniques, assembly, and applicability to designs.
    • Contribute to developing documentation, maintaining equipment logs and activity history.
    • Responsible and accountable for working under the requirements of the Company quality assurance and health and safety policy.
    • Report writing of analysis and project work undertaken.
