The new HotSenseTM product from Ionix is a 0-degree ultrasound transducer, designed for use in extreme environments from -40°C to +380°C, and capable of continuous thickness measurement.
The transducers come with a range of deployment methods for permanent installation, and are designed to meet intrinsic safety requirements. The probes have outstanding stability over the temperature range, offer a simple internal temperature compensation and calibration method and provide high accuracy absolute measurement.
The transducers and deployment systems enable a simple, cost-effective entry to continuous monitoring and are compatible with standard industry instrumentation. HotSenseTM transducers complement inspections and enhance your monitoring systems to minimise risk, maximise safety and deliver cost effective maintenance and repair programs. The technology can be attached direct-to-pipe under insulation without the need for cooling or duty cycling and can be adapted across a range of applications covering thickness and crack monitoring in standard and extreme environments.
