As well as the HS582i (5 MHz, 8 mm dual), we have added two more variations to the range;
5 MHz, 12 mm – The larger crystal size offers higher sensitivity for wider and longer detection range – ideal for corrosion scanning and inspection of thicker components up to 250 mm, whilst retaining good near surface resolution.
2.5 MHz, 12 mm – As the frequency decreases, the wavelength increases, increasing the sound penetration depth in materials with coarser grain structures, or components that have been cast, especially at high-temperature. The HS2122i allows inspection of thick, cast and forged components, from 10 to 500 mm thick, with good sensitivity for pores, voids and inclusions.
Alongside the original HS582i, the HotSense™ UT range is the perfect tool for your on-stream inspections, complemented by high-temperature guards, cables and AUT probe holders for maximum flexibility.
