Ionix Appoints New Chief Executive Officer

Ionix has appointed co-founder and previous technology lead Tim Stevenson as Chief Executive Officer.

Ian Williamson, Chairman, said: “I am pleased to announce that Tim Stevenson has been appointed CEO of Ionix Advanced Technologies and is joining the Board with effect from 1st September 2023. Steve Holding will continue as Managing Director – Operations, Finance and Administration, and Tim Comyn will continue as Technical Director.

I would like to personally thank Steve, Tim and Tim, and all members of our team, for your support during the transition following the departure of David Astles in 2022. Ionix is making good progress across all our activities, and I am excited about our future growth under Tim’s leadership.”

Tim has over a decade of experience in industrial sensors for challenging environments and previously served as Managing Director responsible for technology & commercial strategy.
