Small Modular Reactor Operator Realises Molten-Salt Monitoring with TRND
An SMR developer deployed non-invasive ultrasonic monitoring to detect molten-salt levels in reactor piping at temperatures up to 600 °C. Using clamp-on HotSense™ sensors and TRND electronics, the solution provided reliable, real-time level indication without penetrating the pressure boundary, enabling safe operation.
